The Prescribing Information is a legal document that outlines the indications of the product, as well as specifics such as dosage, contra-indications, pregnancy and lactation, precautions, drug interactions, adverse events and overdoses.
The summary of product characteristics is prepared for the use of "professional people" and contains a certain amount of professional language. The user is therefore advised to seek information either in the package leaflets that are enclosed in the individual product, from his/her own general practitioner or at the pharmacy.
